Day 2 - 8th December - Play Emirates Golf Club Majlis Course

The flagship course at Emirates Golf Club is the Majlis - a challenging par 72, 7301 yard course. Sculptured around the original tall desert dunes in 1987, the Majlis was the first grass course in theMiddle East and takes its name from the Arabic word for 'meeting place'. One of the most prominent features on the course is the Royal Majlis, positioned between the 8th and 9th holes, which has hosted numerous high profile events for royalty and dignitaries alike.

The Emirates Majlis course has hosted the Dubai Desert Classic, a European tour event, since 1989 and continues to attract many of the world's top golfers to the 'major of the Middle East'.

Day 3 - 9th December - Play The Els Club and go on Desert Safari

The Els Club at Dubai Sports City is the first golf course in the Middle East designed by three time Major Champion Ernie Els. From the tips, the course stretches 7,538 yards with 81 beautifully shaped bunkers and sublime contoured greens providing a real test for the professional and at the same time, an equally fair challenge for the average players from the forward tees.

This not to be missed experience departs Dubai between approx. 3:00 – 4.00 p.m. in the afternoon heading east towards the desert of the Nizwa region for an unforgettable and thrilling drive through some of the highest and most challenging sand dunes in the UAE in one of our Toyota Land cruiser 4x4's. After a spot of adrenalin filled dune bashing, our trip will take in a stop at a camel-breeding farm, as well as stopping for photo opportunities and refreshments at the more spectacular dunes. After watching the sun set over the rolling hills of the desert, we head to our Bedouin campsite in the middle of the desert. Here you can ride a camel, smoke the traditional hubbly bubbly, or just relax with a selection of malt and barley based beverages from our well stocked bar. After a sumptuous BBQ dinner a belly dancer will provide genuine Arabic entertainment. You will return to Dubai by 8:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Day 4 - 10th December - Watch the Dubai World championship - Jumeirah Golf Estates

The Race to Dubai is a golf event unlike any other which takes place on Jumeirah Earth course . It spans the entire golf season and offers more prize money than any other golf tournament in the world. The Race to Dubai is also extremely prestigious – so much so that it replaced the European Tour Order of Merit in 2009.

The race culminates with the Dubai World Championship (hence the name, Race to Dubai), where the leading players on the European money list compete to take a slice of a US$7,500,000 Bonus Pool. The top 15 players all receive substantial cash prizes, with the biggest prize of all – worth $1,500,00 – being reserved for the overall winner.

Day 5 - 11th December - Final day of Race to Dubai - Jumeirah Golf Estates

Martin Kaymer succeeded Lee Westwood as The Race to Dubai champion in 2010 to become only the fourth continental European to win the Harry Vardon trophy, following in the footsteps of the legendary Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer and Robert Karlsson. Kaymer won four times in 2010, capturing his maiden Major title at the US PGA Championship in addition to the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, the KLM Open and the Alfred Dunhill Championship on his way to €4,461,011 to finish ahead of Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell. England's Luke Donald finished 15th.
